The challenge

Start with the real work.

Renters need to understand vehicles, likely cost, eligibility, and handoff options. The owner needs enough context to review availability and terms before collecting payment.

My role and the project scope

The case study documents a Blueprint Media build and a reviewer role. The available materials do not establish every individual contributor, so the page describes the delivered system without claiming sole authorship of each component.

What was built

The working parts.

A branded rental website connecting fleet browsing and guided requests to owner administration, approved Stripe payment links, electronic agreements, and a staged search-content library.

  1. Responsive fleet pages and a three-step booking request
  2. Owner dashboard for requests, fleet changes, quote approval, and status
  3. Stripe Checkout links with verified payment-event handling
  4. Agreement acceptance, owner intake, and 30 authored rental guides

The important decision

How the pieces connect.

A customer submits a request, not an instant reservation. An authorized owner selects a vehicle and approves the amount before sending a payment link, retaining control over delivery and terms.

What the evidence supports

Proof with a clear boundary.

Documented

The source review records the implementation and dated milestones from August through September 2026. Six vehicles are seeded examples and the 30 guides are authored content, not transaction or search results.

Still to verify or measure

Stripe is documented in sandbox mode. Final public details, fleet imagery, policies, live payment setup, and operating validation remain open. No booking volume or commercial lift is claimed.
