The challenge

Start with the real work.

Static menus are difficult to update and separate sites repeat maintenance. A reusable restaurant product needs shared code, venue-specific data, and a clear handoff from guest browsing to staff action.

My role and the project scope

The case study names Anthony's role as product direction, scope and business model, demo selection, and hands-on testing, with AI-assisted implementation and deployment.

What was built

The working parts.

A shared multi-venue application with branded menus, a guest cart, a kitchen ticket board, and a separate operating hub for prospects and venue setup.

  1. Venue-themed shared Next.js application backed by Supabase/Postgres
  2. Grand Street Social demo with seven categories and 58 seeded items
  3. Guest cart and optional ticket submission to a staff kitchen board
  4. Separate internal hub for venue management, sales pipeline, and roadmap

The important decision

How the pieces connect.

One shared application reads each venue's menu, theme, and enabled features. The ordering layer is positioned as a companion to the existing POS, with payment handled separately.

What the evidence supports

Proof with a clear boundary.

Documented

The supplied six-page product study shows a working prospect demo and source-backed implementation. The menu, orders, and restaurant setting are sample data.

Still to verify or measure

No restaurant endorsement, paid adoption, revenue lift, labor savings, POS sync, or payment processing is established. Staff access and service reliability need work before a live pilot.
